YOP – year 8 – week 29

First things first this week. I finally got around to blocking my Bentley cardigan. I really can’t say why it took me so long to get to it. Even yesterday I had buttons picked out sat on the table beside me just to sew on and I read all day yesterday. I eventually got to it late last night. It’s not that I didn’t enjoy the knitting of this cardigan, because I did. I love the design details in the sleeves and the wider button bands and ribbing and although the green is a lot brighter than what I wear at the moment, it will still work in my wardrobe. I’m glad I got to finishing it and now can enjoy wearing it. The Cumulus Blouse is heading for blocking today so that’s going to be ready soon.

The only other item I worked on this week was my Coloring cardigan. It’s been such an enjoyable knit and I’ve picked it up and down throughout the week as the desire to do so came. I now find myself on the bottom ribbing of the cardigan, which should be finished later today. That leaves some sleeves perhaps for during the week, we shall what I’m in the mood for this week.

I’ve made no further progress on my socks or on my sewing but I appreciated the responses in last weeks post about sewing and how loosing weight is affecting my desire to sew or not sew in this case.

My list looks like this currently;
