YOP – year 8 – week 52

The weeks have flown by and here we are at the end. This year we have one extra week in how the weeks have fallen and so next week is the week I get to do a wrap up post. Which is good and works in my favour because the Mae cardigan is close…so close to being finished. There are a 4 more decreases on the second arm, then some rows and then the ribbing. With this extra week I’m hopeful of getting that done along with neck and button bands so it can be included in next weeks wrap up post. It may not be blocked…who am I kidding, it won’t be blocked (shhh but I’ve not blocked the Magnolia jumper I completed before the Mae yet either) but the blocking can be done at any point…it’ll be grand.

    1. Thanks Sam, I’m delighted with how the year went and what got accomplished, I feel this year I finally found how I liked to do things and once I accepted that the projects for the year really just ticked by. I love your footsteps Sam and they suit you so well, don’t ever change!

    1. A little bit of time pressure might be the thing to shake me up into finishing Mae off Becki lol…it’s been languishing for far too long and considering how short a cardigan it is that’s just weird…just goes to show how much the mental mind has to be in a project to finish it or even just work on it.
